Andrew Chongseh Kim is a Senior Foreign Attorney with Bae, Kim & Lee, one of the largest full-service law firms in Korea.  He is a commercial litigator who specializes in cross-border disputes, including energy, construction, regulatory, fin-tech, and other commercial matters.

Before moving to Korea, Mr. Kim practiced with major American law firms and taught at South Texas College of Law, Concordia University School of Law, and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.  Mr. Kim serves as chair of the board of the Korean Americans for Political Action and is a frequent speaker at legal and community-based organizations.

Mr. Kim has researched and written extensively on issues of race, equity, and criminal law.  Among his publications are Researching While Asian: An Initiative in Search of a Crime, Criminal Justice Magazine (America Bar Association, 2022), Racial Disparities in Economic Espionage Act Prosecutions: A Window into the New Red Scare, (Committee of 100, 2021), and Prosecuting Chinese “Spies”: An Empirical Analysis of the Economic Espionage Act, Cardozo Law Review Volume 40 No. 2 (Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, 2018).

Mr. Kim graduated from the University of Chicago, and with honors from Harvard Law School.
